MOUNTAINS EDGE CONDOMINIUMS - RETAINING WALL & REGRADING WORK

Ingram Construction Corporation replaced a badly decayed wood retaining wall with precast concrete Redi-Rock. As part of this project, extensive regrading work was done to an adjacent slope thereby eliminating the need for other retaining walls.

MOUNTAIN'S EDGE CONDOMINIUMS - BUILDING 100

Shortly after being awarded the contract for rebuilding this 12 unit condominium structure that was destroyed by fire in January of 2007, Ingram Construction was issued a challenge by the Owner: have the building safe and ready to occupy before the one year anniversary of the fire without any significant costs beyond the insurance reimbursement. Our framers drove the first nails in early September of 2007 and the 26,500 building was ready for occupancy in January of 2008---on time and on budget. Subsequent to the completion of the work on Building 100 the Mountain’s Edge Condominium Association has worked with Ingram Construction to upgrade and repair the other 5 buildings that comprise this 72 unit condominium development.

TONTINE/CANAL STREET AFFORDABLE HOUSING

The restoration of the historic Tontine Building in the Algiers Village section of Guilford, VT presented numerous challenges---not the least of which was raising the entire building 3 feet into the air so that a new highly energy efficient foundation could be installed. A high percentage of the existing building’s material was removed and resold by a local salvage company, greatly reducing the volume of material entering the solid waste stream. Extensive structural work and envelope improvements help insure that this affordable housing project will stand on its busy corner for another century.
